I've been running in the Saucony Ride and now the Endorphin Speed, and I've had this problem with the past 2 or 3 pairs I've had. Never had any trouble prior.
Anyway, it seems like the padding at the back of the shoe gets pushed down over time, such that there is little padding left around the top of the back of the shoe and it's all bunched behind my heel. It causes blisters.
Maybe I'm being too lazy when putting my foot into the shoe and it gets pushed down when I try to stuff my foot into the shoe.
I only have 370 miles on these $160 shoes. I tried using a pin to push the padding back up, but that doesn't seem to work.
Curious if anyone else has a similar experience and what they've done to work around it. I'm thinking about cutting out the excess cushioning, but I'm wondering if that will make it worse.
