While I give the science based argument a ton of weight, there is huge social/behavioral aspect to public health. I feel that it would be in the best interest of the economy if we were still masking, as it costs nothing in almost all regards, but could prevent very costly treatments/deaths/lockdowns. So...I’m still wearing mine to normalize it.
I have a feeling that a large percentage of vaccinated people are still masking and a large percentage of unvaccinated people are no longer makai g.
Bottom line though, especially from the conservative perspective, it’s none of your business what I do if it does not effect you.
Nobody thought it was weird when a guy washed his hands after taking a leak and not touching any toilet, door knob, sink. Nobody judged when a person wore a helmet. There’s a million examples.
