Splits were 46.5,46.7,48.2, I was wearing spikes.
Have previously run 2:00 but I think I’m more in 1:58 shape. I’ll be racing this Saturday against a good field at at a qualifier meet.
I’d say I’m more of a 800/1600 guy so I was pretty surprised with the first 2 reps being so fast. These were probably at 98-100% effort. I really locked up the last 120ish meters on the last rep.
