Your Anaerobic (or lactic) threshold is defined as the maximum amount of oxygen your muscles can utilize w/out producing lactic acid, is it not?
So, if I were to run for an hour at my AT, there would be little to no lactic acid build up in my muscles when I finished, right?
Assuming I'm correct, why can't I simply run at my AT until my body runs out of glucose to burn? Can I? How long does it typically take your body to burn off a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while running at your AT?
