I bet a lot of California conservatives are getting confused boners over this.
It’s common sense.
Ignoring any hormone suppression, biological men shouldn’t compete vs biological men when there are categories based on sex.
Caitlyn as Bruce was the greatest male athlete in the world. She understands basic biology.
And trans women understand this on some level right? They know they are not biologically male.
Sure there is a fairness component and maybe that is where testosterone levels could come in or reminding trans women they can still compete with their biological sex. There isn’t a perfect solution but the more this progresses I don’t have much of an issue of making elite sport more about biology than gender identity. Nikki Hiltz made this is even more apparent to me. She’s one of the top female athletes in the word at 1500 . She would be a pretty good high school male runner . No matter what she identifies with I don’t have a problem with her competing in the women’s category. She is female. I wouldn’t force her to compete vs biological men because she on some days she feels more masculine than feminine.
What’s wrong with telling trans athletes you are free to identify as you wish but when it comes to sport it’s based on biological sex and not gender identity?
Recreational sport can do what it wants.
What am I missing?
Most people who have an intact cerebrum do. We have wheelchair divisions (awesome by the way). We should have gender confused divisions also. Not hating. Let's help everyone!
Jenner was and remains a very down to earth person in most areas. respect. Jenner also realizes what a biological man brings to the table athletically compared to females. I am guessing there are a lot of others out there who think the same way but don't have the guts to say it.
Wrong.
If Bruce Jenner was down to earth, he would have been a transsexual male who felt like a female and wore dresses and skirts.
He SWITCHED his whole identity.
Whether he knows the difference is a small factor.
I don't support crossing genders in sports but I don't think a man/trans woman who decided at a late age to switch (and after a brutal accident --to avoid serving time??) should weigh in here.
Is the whole Caitlyn Jenner campaign going to happen?
Honestly, making trans issues in sports a huge part of the campaign is the smartest move Jenner could possibly make.
By winning votes on the backs of social issues that in reality affect a small number of people that are overrepresented on this forum, Jenner can completely avoid having to campaign on the economic and government issues that a governor would actually have to deal with. What does she know about water rights in an area that drives US food production? What about balancing the economic interests of the major cities against the rural parts of the state?
This way, Jenner can completely hide lack of experience in running an administration in a huge state with with a broad economy. 4D chess to play all the suckers.
Liberal (fake) news won't report this because it's true and doesn't fit their agenda.
Amazing that the most famous transgender person in the world, and a former Olympic gold medal winner, is against bio males in women’s sports.
Caitlyn knows how to think for herself and is I afraid of the nonsense liberal mob. She’s got my vote.

Jenner realizes he is running for governor of Califirnia as a Republican.

You mention that crash where the victim of Jenner's egregious driving died. He killed someone. Perhaps that mental anguish caused him to turn his gender over.
No.
As much of an advocate of the True LGBTQIA2S+ community, I firmly reserve my firm belief that he switched his physical gender to avoid a prison sentence ...not unlike "Chelsea" Manning .
I have friends that are Gay and think transgenders are an embarrassment to there community. A good buddy who has is Gay and married to his partner told me that transgender are nothing but a disgusting sideshow and he cringes when they are around.

But you should.
Got it

Do you think that Jenner could possibly be successful as a Republican in California and not have this viewpoint?

The liberal mob is not going to vote for a Republican candidate so of course she's not going to support transgender athletes. If she wants to have a chance of winning the election, that was the only possible answer she could give to the reporter.
That she is a transgender female and won a
gold medal decades ago as a man, does not make her opinion any more meaningful than the next person's.
By running for governor, she's asking for acceptance for who she is, but on the other hand, does not accept transgender athletes. She can't have it both ways.

i think thats a legitimate reason to have beef with Caster Semanya. Because she should be aware that she has an unfair advantage. But she acts completely ignorant of this fact and spreads misinformation
