A couple of months ago, the quote of the day was Jim Ryun talking about the importance of the long run.
Basically, he said how he would not do the long run in college. After he graduated, he started doing the long run. He noticed he started beating guys that used to be him. He credits a lot of his success to the long run. He went on to say something along the lines of how the long run is the most important thing you can do as a runner.
Hopefully some of you remember this quote/article... My question is, does anyone have the link to the article?
