So just like the title says really.
Ive been running for around 7 years now both on road and track and believe it or not, its only just occurred to me, can i buy high heel to toe drop spikes? I personally ALWAYS no matter what - have calf problems after a session at the track when wearing regular track spikes (no matter how much stretching and rolling i do on my calfs and legs!) But anytime i do a session in say the Nike 4% or NEXT% i don't have any problems after and i assume its due to the heel to toe drop and less extension of the Achilles etc?
Anyway, seeing that it would not only look weird me running a race in trainers rather than spikes and the fact that i think it is now illegal to actually race on the track with the 4% and next% but can i actually buy spikes with a high heel to toe drop or maybe even insoles to go inside just on the heel to lighten the load on my calf's both during training and race?
Please let me know your experiences and and knowledge!
