Yessir, I think he can run 3:37 right now

He’s so much stronger than the typical hs runner. It’s the climbing. I doubt Nico or Teare could have done a single pull-up in hs. Does this speak to his unlimited potential or does it mean we are seeing him now closer to his ceiling than others at this stage?
How soon until he beats Jakon Ingebretsen?

Jakob averages 55 per lap
I was stunned...in a stacked field of veterans he went from 12th at the bell to 6th. Can't wait to see video. Once he gets more confident to position better, he will be deadly.
In a few years he will be pushing Hocker to the wire.
Good luck finding the video. But you can watch video of Hoare lying on the ground for 30 seconds immediately post race
The teenage rock climber sticking it to the pros. Absolutely f#@king based
Bro what are you saying they could definitely do a pull up 😂 I’m not very muscular and weigh not much at all and can do 10, they can definitely do at least that many 😂
I would bet you 20$ that Teare can't do 2 pullups. I imagine kessler can do 30-40

I don't know about Teare, but Kessler can do at least two...with one arm.

Jakob can run a 3:40 mile!?!?! That's insane - when did he destroy the WR?

You do realize Jakob's 1500m PB is 55.6 a lap, right?
A young aussie 18 year old ran 3:40 this season and also 1:48.2. It will be interesting if he goes to the US college system.

I don't know. Let's wait and see.
Yeah, I hope NBC gets its act together before Tokyo (& before Eugene Trials): I'm sure they have multiple cameras. You wouldn't do a NFL or college football/basketball game without multiple. We should be able to see the runners cross the finish, AND the victor....
Saw this kid run. I think he’s one of the top 3 most talented middle distance/distance runners in US history. Seriously. Alan Webb, take your pick (Ryun, Rupp, etc), Hobbs.

I think Jakob will retire before Kessler, Hocker and Teare reach his level.
I talked to Henrik and he hasn't even heard of Hocker. And rightly so, why should someone running 3:28-3:31 be even aware of 3:38-3:41 dudes?
