3:04 would be very solid... 3:08 would be disappointing.
I went 3:06 off of 4:04 1500, I think you should aim for 3:00-3:05
Ok thanks for the advice I will aim for 3:04 then . I will go out in 59 -61 and try to come through the 800 in 2:02-2:03.
3:05-6 seems like the best prediction. I've seen a couple guys run 3:02-4 off similar 1500, but it took a phenomenal race. If that 1500 was a great race for you then I don't think you could go any faster than 3:05. 3:07-3:08 is more like 4:02-4:05 for 1500.

I also should note I ran 3:08 when I was a 4:04 guy, and 2:58 when I was a 3:49 guy...haven't run too many 1200s
