I am focusing on the 800 so i can get 4:15 in the 1600m. Is 2:00 fast enough for a 4:15 1600m? I ran 2:00 flat 2 times yesterday, but i just couldn't break 2:00.

Your level for an 800 in a race is better than whatever time you can run for two of them in a workout. If you're a legit 1:56 guy it would be reasonable to expect like a sub-4:20.
Yes, that is the minimum for 4:15.

You ran 2.00 twice yesterday? Tell us more?
An older runner might be able to run 4:20 off 2:00
You’d be better off trying to run 1:55-1:57 and dropping 4:15

Sounds like her ran a relay split of 2:00 and then came back with a 2:00 in the open 800m as well.

FIXED
Yes i ran 2:00 flat for a 4x800m and then 2 hours later ran 2:00, possibly 2:01 in the 800m race. My 1600m best is 4:25 which i ran like 4 weeks ago, my coach is trying to get my speed better since going from 4:25 to 4:15 is primarily speed work.
You are a top level runner 4.05 miler or better easily. No low level runner goes to a track and runs 2:00 (800) like that and then another one. Perhaps you should ask your Univ or Club coach who has you in this shape what your season is looking like. US Oly Trials or Oly Games if not from US. That’s an elite workout so you’re not fooling anyone 2:00 (800) x2 indicates you’re a low 1:50 800 guy or better just tuning up .. yes you’re trolling but it’s Sunday and thought I’d play along.
Honestly, the sky is the limit.

Two 2:00s, two hours apart, is not indicative of being capable of running in the low 1:50s.
His 4:25 PR does not support your claim it will be easy for him to become a 4:05. Running fast is not as easy as you think.
400 and 3200 times? 4:15 might be a little ambitious, but not out of the question. Sub 4:20 certainly doable. As you know, there is no magic formula, but if you can go 53ish in the 400 and have the strength to run 9:2? in the 3200, mid 4-teens and beyond very reachable.
If you’re an aerobic machine it’s theoretically possible, but unlikely. Maybe a 1:56
By the end of the season with some sharpening and race experience you should be close to 4:15
What you just makes me feel like i have alot of potential then, because i am not trolling. And i legit did run 2:00 2 times. Why is it everyone im around acts like it's not a big deal but when i ask on letsrun people are so shocked and think im trolling.?
My 3200m i know would be low 9:30s, but it is officially 9:43 because before i ran a 1600m, 400m best was 54 after a workout.
I have not really done much fresh leg racing other than the 1600m.
+1
yeah, now way he runs 4:15 off of 2:00s two hours apart. I was in a similar situation last year. I ran 1:58 800 Friday morning, 2:32 1000m three hours later, and only 4:18 Saturday morning. Going from 4:25 to 4:15 is a big ask especially with your 800 speed. I would first try and run sub-4:20 before aiming for 4:15.
Don't say no way. There are many guys who have done it so don't base it off your individual experience.

What is that supposed to mean? What is unlikely.
He absolutely does have 4.15 ability.
Horwill believed in a 4 second rule as you move up in distance. If you can average 60 seconds per 400 in your 800 race then you can run 64 seconds per 400 in the 1500 and 68 seconds per 400 in the 3000. Of course this assumes you're well trained aerobically but most HS kids aren't.
