If Hoka One One sponsored Zach Levet, they probably would sponsor Seth James Demoor as well.
Who is this guy? What’s the deal with his bowl haircut?
What college did he run with and who does he run with now? Should we know how he is or is this just another YouTube guy? Can’t stand the show review guys. How do these random guys with no running credentials suddenly become the voice of what shoes people should buy. It’s a weird phenomenon.
He ran for Colorado, won the Pikes Peak Marathon and is one America's best uphill mountain runners. The purpose of the statement in the video is that while he could probably get sponsored as a mountain/trail runner, this would hurt his ability to do shoe reviews.
have i missed something? wrote:

Wow, fellow runners review shoes, another runner thinks it weird, guess they must be the only one with knowledge about shoes?
Can you tell me what shoes I should be running in oh oracle of knowledge?
Sponsored or not, he makes a living off running. He IS a professional runner.

Grow up. That's very basic thinking.
If I won the lottery and then paid a friend minimum wage every year so he can quit his job and run, but he runs 16:20/5K that doesnt make him a professional runner really. You also have to be good. Stop being pedantic.

Dumbest post of the day? Probably.
I know a ton of professionals in my line of work who suck at their jobs but they are still professionals. Just buy a dictionary and get off the running forums.
He has a big following on YT. I criticized him last weekend for traveling all the way to the Tampa area to run an unknown 10k race with no competition. Waste of time and COVID risk.

This!!
I'd never heard of the guy until now, but it's an indusputable fact that he's a pro runner. Trying to argue otherwise is like trying to argue that the sky is purple, it's simply not true...
Seth considers himself a professional Youtuber that produces a daily running-themed Youtube vlog.
I think he picked the Naples 10k because he was certain it would happen and flights were cheap.

He wore a Colorado singlet a few times, won the Pikes Peak Marathon during a global pandemic, and is one of America's best uphill mountain runners.

Thank you for succinctly explaining why people who follow running have never heard of him.
One of best? I mean just to name a few that would and have spanked him:
Joseph Gray for sure.
Max King
Sage Canday
Andrew wacker
He won pikes on a year where literally no top Americans went and also they canceled the uphill pikes race so Gray didn't go which I can assure, Seth would have gotten crushed by him on the ascent as he has every other time along with Wacker most likely
you're delusional.
Someone wishes there was an edit button...
Wacker raced last year,on the ascent alone he was 9mins behind Seth.
No one has ever heard of him because threads about him are always deleted.
