I agree re: Phil Collins and Jim Morrison, but they're g*dd*mn Pavarotti compared to the auto-tuned crap you hear today.
That whiny guy in Counting Crows instantly makes me change the channel on my satellite radio, the same way it did when I saw one of his whiny videos on MTV back in the day.
