What?
What?
The wind was + 4.0m/s but that's still worth 19.81, and it's a great opener.
Since Norman isn’t running it’s definitely lyles and Kenny. With everyone fighting for the third spot. From the laird, Boling, the hs junior who went pro. It should be interesting. I think Boling and laird will be shot by the time trials come around tho.
Is Kenny going to try the 200/400? I’m assuming not since no one else seems to be. Freakin ridiculous.
The wind/altitude converter puts that at 19.83, which is still really good at this time of year. Bednarek can medal this year if healthy. He is a guy who can run 19.6 basic at his best, maybe even 19.4-19.5.

Mentally weak.
He runs a 43 in the 400 and a 42 relay split. You talk about mental??

Liar. Norman's committing to the 400m for the Olympics and will likely go down in distance after 2022
Mentally weak is refusing to register, so you have a history.

Boling started the season with a 10.32 100m so maybe he's taking it easy? I would be worried about Laird dropping such a fast time early on but we'll see if he proves everyone wrong. He's been sticking to relays since then. Other people to consider in the 200 include Bromell, Fahnbulleh, Kyree King as a dark horse, Gillespie, Flournoy, Rowe, Bassitt, I'm hoping for an Elijah hall comeback, Slade and Knighton are the newest batch of future US stars. Bednarek and Lyles are the only two I'm certain about.
Hey chump, where did I do that? Nowhere, that's where.
Another of your fat F fantasies. Not man enough, and not smart enough.
The web is great--here is what I actually said after his 10.24 comeback in Tallinn:

But, really, "Mentally weak is refusing to register..."
CLASSIC!
Hey. Dude.
THAT'S a legit take. Serious; excellent contribution.
Bednarek does not have what it takes. Come Tokyo, he will not be around. It will be Lyles ,Fahnbulleh and Jalen Slade or Erriyon Knighton for the 200M.
Are you saying over at Sprintzone you didn't talk about the demise of Gatlin in 2017, the first to go is that memory slugger. Hell yes you did.

Check it out: Gatlin in 200m.
??
He will be in tough in the 100m, why not try for the 200 if he can? A 19.8 just might be good enough, and he might be able to do it.
Noah Lyles is on anothr level right now, so we ned two others.
Elijah Hall who I bragged about as a JCer is the one I want to see reemerge and start realizing that potential. People forget....NCAA Indoor 200m record holder.
Gellespie I was talking about in HS, he could also begin to realize that potential this season. He is the only sub10,00/sub20,00 in Oregon history.
Laird is a bit of a ???? at least too me, I need to see more.
I do expect Boling to seriously be in the mix, a 20.05ish wouldn;t shock me at all, but do expect 2022 more his time, now sub 19,95ish becomes realistic.
Not all that excited about Bednarek, he reminds me of Trini Kleston Bledman, impressive tmes but nothing else.

I pondered what that would look like for him, but theres no way he'd go for it. If I recall, there was some question of his hammy health going into Doha, and that was now two years younger. If he wants to keep his chances legit over 100, he cant even THINk about the 200.
I'm still not even that high on him after the 100 opener. He's essentially a 10.07 guy right now. I'm sure he'll be in in his best form for trials, but considering what Bromell, Baker, and Lyles likely have in their wells, I don't see I'm slicing enough off a 10.07 starting point to overtake them...unless one of the big guns get hurt (and Baker and Bromellhave history for that). Then I guess he's still ahead of the rest of the pack for a top 3 spot, but only then. And to even have THAT chance, he can't be chasing 200s.
But your right that, theoretically, he could have a shot over 200 too. Though I think the youth win out on that event, too.
