I've been training really hard since covid, but haven't been able to race or even be on the track at all (excluding for a small period last summer). I finally have been allowed to train back on the train again now for about a month, and it's felt good, but it's hard for me to tell exactly how good I am doing, especially because I forget how fast I would do workout on the track a year ago. Tuesday I did 6 X 200 meters with 3 mins between at, 26, 27, 27, 27, 27, 28 (times are in seconds and anywhere between X.00 and X.99 because I forget the decimals), and today I did 5 X 300 meters at 45, 45, 45, 44, 46. Both workouts I pushed myself about as hard as I could without being excessive. Worth noting I am I speed based 800 meter runner, so these workouts may make me sound faster than I actually am. Also my pb is 2:01.41 which I ran in a time trial last summer during the period of time we were allowed on the track. Lastly, for the workouts this week I had to wear a mask while running, not sure how much of a difference it makes. What's your best guess? I know it could be a wide range but I'm just looking for a general idea. Thanks!
