I think the answer is almost definitely the dragonfly, but by how much? R. Harrison recently ran his 8:47 in the Vapoflys, closing in 2:01, would he have been much faster in the Dragonfly? What about non 'super' spikes? Does the Vaporfly win in that race?

I would have used the Dragonfly, it's a much better option. The spikes I have New Balance LD5kv8 is a super spike and is insane.
Yeah I thought that was an interesting shoe choice, but interesting how he still managed to close so quickly despite wearing the chonky boys rather than the Dragonflys. Definitely capable of sub 8:40 for the full two mile right now.

I guess who wore the vaporflies because he was pretty much pacing for the first 2400m and wanted to save his legs. I have to assume that he'd wear super spikes for a real 3200m race

Yeah those were my thoughts as well, just looking forward to what he can lay down when going all out from the run now. Hopefully he can translate his insane workouts to more insane times
