Junior. He ran at the XC state meet in 2018 (his freshman year).

If Colin Sahlman was a soph now, it would mean he was in 8th grade during XC 2018, so he wouldn’t be running state at that time. California doesn’t allow 8th graders to run at the XC state meet.
If they are not already, will Lex and Leo Young turn out to be the fastest identical twins ever?
4:03, 4:08, 4:10, 4:12........16:34 for 4x1600 more or less. Next year's relay is going to burn the national record down
The Jefferson twins from Florida eventually both broke 4:00 for the mile, and Mastalirs from the '80's were both under 4:10 and 8:50 in high school and one of them broke 4:00 in mile later on (as did the Assuma's in the '70's, I believe)
You know what, Brosnan may want to be smart about this. They are going to kill EVERYBODY at Arcadia where they could go for this record. I would ask Rich Gonzalez to maybe even sprinkle some slower teams in that invite eat so they can see some people to start lapping sooner than later. Or ask for a special race/meet to be set up at Mt. Sac against college kids or pros, which has been done for high school kids in the past. These guys are so much better than everyone right now.

Their actual times are 4:03, 4:08, 4:09 and 4:10. CRAZY
Frank did, but I'm not sure about Chuck Assuma.
Correct, Frank broke 4:00 but Chuck did not.

Loudoun Valley became like that in 2017 and 2018. They were nothing before the Hunters took over. When they took over, they started to qualify for state and won NXN in 2017 and 2018. Now that the Hunters quit, they aren’t a national caliber team anymore.
