WOW! I never saw that coming! Fantastic race from the guys in green! They really went for it from the start! Peak when it counts!

Yeah they ran phenomenally.
Why did they run Carmody at SEC instead of here or even both?
Not sure why anyone is surprised
Yuguse - NCAA champion in 1500, has run 3:38 and 7:46
Andrew Alexander - 5th year from Canada, competed in U20 World XC Championships in high school.
Dylan Jacobs - 1st at Foot Locker and 13th at Nike nationals
Danny Kilrea - 3rd at Foot Locker and 5th at Nike nationals.
Renfree - 2nd at Foot Locker nationals
Methner - 1st at Foot Locker and 2nd at Nike nationals
If anything you should all be asking why the hell it took them so long?
And Carmody has run 13:56. Would he not be top 7?
I've been waiting for the right thread to comment on this.
Simply looking at the results page, they ran an incredibly outstanding race, one that would have won many previous NCAA championships. Top 4 running together. And yet they still lost by 27 points. Props to NAU! Congrats to ND. That was an outstanding race
Yeah they have talent, but they win NCAAs in almost any other year without a crazy juggernaut like NAU. Plenty of teams with talent like that don't even podium. And going 6-deep like that with 3 underclassmen isn't typical either. It was a great performance.
