Do you mean Oklahoma State vs Indiana State? Both of them are fair courses.
OSU has better footing, course is very smooth and grass is very short.
ISU has the long hills. OSU has much shorter steeper hills. At ISU it's about 300 ft of climbing total. At OSU it is about 500 ft of climbing.
At OSU the first lap around won't be too bad, since you will be fresh enough to attack the hills. But on the back half of the second lap things will get very ugly. If someone is already dying the hills will absolutely kill them.
In my opinion, the Oklahoma State course is harder
'No, Indiana University, the four time host for the meet between '74 and '99.
OSU. golf fairway-like grass. Plenty of room to run. Lots of turns and up/down.

IU's old course is gone as of ~1-2 years ago. They tore it up to build more campus buildings.
My sense is that Indiana University is the toughest course that the meet has been held on since 1970, followed by perhaps Rim Rock. Kennedy, Kimani and Scrutton ran low 30s on the course, with Virgin running 29:18 for 6 miles. The OSU footing sounds better, IU had plenty of tree roots and undulating terrain. North Texas and UNI were probably the easiest.

Yes, I am aware. A pity.
I suspect Indiana University was a more challenging course.. Ask Eyestone, he ran on the IU course in 1982 (30:30).
Based on what I saw of the IU course in 2017 vs OSU in 2019, OSU has tougher hills but better footing. Both are/were true tests of cross country strength.
Isn't the current OSU course different from the '19 version?
My home XC course had the same elevation gain as OSU, in 2.6 miles.
The current course

Are you too lazy to look it up or trying to be a tool?
What about compared to Furman (2001)?

I run for IU currently, and we recently completed our new XC course. Close in proximity to the old one, but less challenging. Still hilly, and could be more challenging than OSU. Were supposed to hold meets last fall, but COVID had other plans. Should be the host of a few meets in the coming fall.
What about compared to a dream I had where gargoyles were throwing flaming spears at the runners?
Furman was not a particularly difficult course, easier than Iowa State in '00. Probably about as difficult as Louisville.

I know the answer, this obviously went over your inbred head.

From your experience, it sounds like the old Indiana cross country course was more challenging than the current Oklahoma State course.

Agree.
