Hair is long, but I'm not a pony tail kinda guy. Easy when cold with a winter hat. I suppose a baseball cap, but I'm not a huge fan when it's hot and they'll get gross I'm sure. What do other people do?

Hair cut.
I find it interesting that guys still choose long hair even though it's impractical and most people think it looks ridiculous.
Are you rocking a mullet, the status quo look or surfer-bum locks?
Wear a headband or string, bright one.
I like a lightweight running hat. Keeps the hair back, and also keeps sweat our of your eye. With a light and airy mesh it doesn't make your head hot and is comfortable.

Yup, you cut your dating pool immediately in half with long hair. It just doesn't look good on guys, as a rule, and really only works for pro musicians. Even Evan Jager looks like crap with it. I would know, I had long hair in my 30s and regret that I didn't pick a better hairstyle for my looks back then. My dating prospects picked up significantly once I got my hair styled into a short cut.
Pig tails or braids. What do you have against corn rows?
Why don't you get a visor?

Don't listen to guys like this...it's male pattern baldness jealousy. That's what looks goofy. Poor guys can't even keep their hair. You will definitely be more noticeable with longer hair...that said, you need to maintain it and not let it just keep growing forever.
My hair is just long enough, just touching my shoulders, that I can make a small man bun to run in (I'd never walk around like that though).

Married, wife doesn’t mind. Don’t care about the hussle for old single ladies with baggage.

Long time baldie here. I would kill for some long hair again. Never got the chance to full grow it out before I started losing it. Then again, my hairy was curly and unruly and I would have needed to use a straightener for any kind of style. Way too much work.
Anyways, just avoid the man bun is my only advice.
What toilets do you use
The ponytail works well for running. You don't have to have your hair in a ponytail all day. Just when you're out running. You could also go for the headband or both. I agree with staying away from the man bun. It just looks wrong.
