Just curious,
suppose we have an athlete who can run 800m in 1:50 and 1500m in 3:45-3:46.
He has two races (these are not the main races in his season) : 1500m on sunday and 800m on friday.
He prepare for 1500m race and these two races are to test his form.
Which trainings should he do betwen these races?
I thought about followed schedule:
Sunday: 1500m races
monday:
TUESDAY: morning: warm up, afternoon: warm up + 4-5km about 3:00-3:05/km + (spikes) 6X200m in 27"
rest 2min
WED: 2 morning: 50min easy-moderate, afternoon: 30min easy-moderate + strides
THURS: rest or 30min jogging
FRI: 800m races?
