He had run a 3:56 earlier this season but this is a great time. A DMR is only 1600 so add 1.3 seconds and convert to a 3:53 mile

Yep, impressive from Mario Garcia Romo as well from Ole Miss with a 3:54 as well. I had him as more of a 3k guy.
Kipsang can def rip a really fast 3000m right now, NCAA indoors will still be exciting despite the NAU/BYU absence
Nasty.
He won his heat when the Oregon guys popped off. Have to think he would’ve been pulled a couple seconds faster in their race.
Alabama sure is getting their moneys worth with these recruiters
Does it help to get a running start and not have to react to the starting gun? How much?
This guy is going to be 25 in September? Either way he is running well.

That might be true but he is still a few years younger than the BYU contingent.
Eliud is the dark horse to win the mile or 3k at NCAAs. He should focus on one event to go ftw. Has he lost an individual race this season?
Nope, he has not
8:01 and 7:58 3ks
4:02, 3:57, 3:56 miles
all wins
now a 3:51 split
He’s going to be 25 in September. How is he listed as a freshman?
Is this the fastest DMR anchor leg ever recorded in the NCAA? Only one faster in my memory is Ribich 3:54 at the D2 meet

My bad, obviously 3:51 is faster than 3:54. I meant to say the next fastest in my memory is Ribich

Henry Rono moment
I saw that Ole Miss won the DMR, and Mario Garcia Romo split a 3:54 on the anchor leg. I also saw that Alabama CLAWED back from the trenches because ELIUD KIPSANG split a 3:51 mile leg! I saw that he has a 3:56 mile PR from earlier this year, and hasn’t lost a race yet this season. WOW!!!
It’s a 3:53 mile since he ran a 1600
Impressive, hope to see him race against Hunter, Hocker, and Teare
he’s a 24 year old freshman wtf

I believe Grant Fisher ran 3:52 in Birmingham his senior year
Editor's note: He did not. He ran 3:54.24
https://www.flashresults.com/2019_Meets/Indoor/03-08_NCAA/010-1-01.htmAnyone actually see the race? Did he catch the Ole Miss runner at any point? How did it play out? What did he go out in?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
