I am deciding on track spikes for the upcoming season. The Brooks ELMN8 v5 are standing out to me because I don't want to drop $150+ on a Nike superspike. However the website says they are made for the 400-1600 and I normally run the 3200. Does anyone have experience taking them on distances further than a mile?
What distance are the Brooks ELMN8 v5 for?

I wouldn't, they're great for the 800/mile, very stiff and propulsive, but probably too aggressive for 3200. Get brooks wire instead or some mamba 5s
