Eric Davis.
Suck on that, biden lover.
Eric Davis.
Suck on that, biden lover.
Also...Lou Whitaker.
Trammell made it in, so Whitaker should be in.
Aubrey Huff.
Suck on that hillary lover.
John Rocker.
Suck on that, democrat.
Rob Dibble.
Suck on that, democrat fairy.
There should have been a boxing match between John Rocker and Rob Dibble back in the day, with Nolan Ryan as ref to Robin Ventura any of them who stepped out of line.
Gil Hodges
Bonds, Clemens, Rose, McGwire.
The idiocy of continuing the virtue signaling of keeping them out is absurd. Rose has paid his price let him in.
In the steroid era everyone was on roids and everyone knew it. The writers knew it the players knew it, eventually, the fans knew it too. Yet we are picking and choosing players we think might be clean with no real evidence except we like them more than others.
Bonds is the greatest hitter I've ever watched play. Clemens was one of the 3 greatest pitchers I've ever watched. McGwire revived baseball in the 90's. When you throw in that the all time hits leader is not in the hall of fame as I'm concerned it is a total joke that we are holding these 3 out for doing what everyone else in their era did.

Flagpole you are way too invested in Schilling not getting in. Your politics, which I generally share, are clouding your judgment on him. Do better.
Not my politics at all. I am a baseball fan and like ONLY to see greatness in the Hall of Fame. I honestly don't think a guy with 216 wins should be in the Hall. I didn't think Bert Blyleven deserved to be in, and he was better.

Catfish is in and Schilling is not. Yeah that makes sense...
8 time all star.
5 World Series titles.
More wins.

Loved watching Eric Davis as a Reds fan, but he's not Hall worthy. Talentwise yes, but he didn't have the career stats.
As long as there continues to be a Little League, I will not support this logic. The Hall of Fame, specifically the one in Cooperstown as teams have their own halls, is supposed to be a display of Baseball's best. People like Jerry Coleman, a War Veteran, are there, or Roberto Clemente, who died in a plane crash during a benevolent mission for his country. People who broke the color barrier are there like Jackie Robinson. Children need to know that their baseball heroes are also good people. I collected tons of Doc Gooden memorabilia as a kid and threw it all away when it came out that he took cocaine repeatedly. Kids should not have to experience that in their sport heroes. So we need virtue in baseball. Pete Rose, Rocket Clemens, Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire knew full well that there could be ramifications. At the base level, not even using value judgments for drugs or gambling and just reducing it to its simplest level....it's cheating. Cheating kills the spirit of sports. Cheaters don't belong in Cooperstown.

Um...no.
Wait, i just checked and Jerry isn't in the Hall.
He should be.

Just this one comment - Roberto Clemente had 3000 hits and a .317 career batting average. He was getting in even if h didn't die in that plane crash.

Using the criteria that if Gary Carter is in...then yes, I agree with you.
Oh certainly.
I put Clemente in there to show the clear difference in character between those other names.

You are the clown here. Catfish was not as good as Schilling. Educate yourself.
