Two questions:
1. I don’t normally run in stability shoes but recently got a minor post tib injury (unrelated to shoe choice...mostly related to another injury) and now I’m in orthotics. Plan is to wean off of them and go back to neutral shoes. But I was wondering if it still wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep wearing them on my easy days or have a pair of stability shoes for easy and long run days.
2. For the past 8 years I’ve been a forefoot/toe runner. I don’t pay too much attention to drop in the shoes I’d pick out, but I’ve been successful in both types without shoe related aches or injuries. I was wondering if drop really matters if my heel doesn’t even touch the ground when I run. I can honestly not tell the difference between running in 4mm sauconys vs 12mm brooks. I wanted to try a pair of adidas which mostly make 10mm shoes. Not really looking for zero drop.
