Going to miss seeing 48 starters in the 10,000.

That's bad news for those of us just trying to get into the regional meets. I know in the past, 14:00-14:05 would be enough to sneak into the West Prelim which was my goal for this season, but now it looks like it will take something a decent amount faster. Anyone want to do the work and see what times over the last 4-5 years put one at 32nd in the distance/middle-distance events? I might do it and post here if I find the motivation and nobody beats me to it . . .

No California meets may change the standards a little bit.

Oof, hope they don’t continue this trend into next year.

Same here :/. Plus the amount of guys who got eligibility back and are coming for 5th/6th years was already going to make it THAT much harder, so it's going to be extremely hard with how much more the other classes of guys developed, and having 24-25 year olds still getting a chance. -
Standards could be similar to a normal year due to lack of meets and travel

How will the heats work. Day 1 to reduce from 32 to 24 (eliminate just 8)? or will this mean meet schedule and advancement procedure changes?
