100% possible. I went from 6:16 to 4:48 in 4 months and now I'm even faster.
probably not if you train the same way you did last year
It is possible in theory.
However you'll need a lot of speed-endurance work, which if you only run 25-30 miles per week is hard to implement without significant injury risk.
