This is a fascinating story.
Sondre Guttormsen was a stud growing up in Norway. He went to UCLA in 2019 and jumped quite high (5.73 indoors and 5.80 outdoors which is over 19 feet). Now he's transferred to Princeton where his brother also vaults.
He's never actually set foot on the Princeton campus. He' s never competed in a Princeton singlet. He's training at home in Norway. But he recently vaulted 5.66m (18’7”) which is being described as the all-time Ivy record.
