the next versions were all superior /thread
Peg 35 definitely better than 36. Reviews all say they’re the same save the upper....they must be smoking crack. The only Zoom Fly I’ve tried IS the FK. It’s a unique shoe and awesome for tempo runs despite the weight...over time the upper stretches WAY out and fuks up the lockdown. Turbo 2 ,while not as plush, is more sleek and doesn’t get waterlogged like the 1.
A zoom fly with the (in my opinion) superior vaporweave upper and the feeling of the 2 with a more competitive weight would be amazing

The feel and weight part is taken care of in the 4% FK. Yes, it’s an amazing shoe. Race day version of the FlyFK.

I remember saying that I didn't like the 36 either and three or four people jumped down my throat about "people always just need something to complain about." For whatever reason the 36 drove me nuts, but I loved the 35. I bought a few pairs for about $60 when they were on clearance and I recently broke out the last ones.

I don’t mean to sound elitist but I’m pretty sure 50% of the folks doing shoe reviews don’t have the foggiest notion of actual running and training. Mostly weekend warrior, 22 minute 5k specials it seems to me.

That was the zoom fly sp. I bought 6 pair. There was never a better shoe. I did all my tempo runs in that shoe.
The 4%vapor weave was too wide. I'm not going to sell them, but I'm not a fan.

35 was the redesign, very good! The 36, took us back to the 34, which I hated. It was more like a gym shoe. The 37 is the zoomfly#1.
I agree totally wrote:

I really enjoyed this shoe too. Same as above with the Peg 35; I've got one last one stored away in the closet that I got on clearance. Glad I did.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
