My dad actually forwarded me the official UT press release which included a picture of Sarkisian and his wife. I googled her and found out she's got quite a track background.
Loreal Smith was a star at North Carolina A&T. Ran 12.81 for 100h in 2011 (12.64 windy). Then was an assistant coach at USC.

It's only creepy to the jealous people who have an old/fat/ugly/annoying wife they have to put up and are stuck with.

To me depends on the 10 years. 28 and 18 is far creepier than 45 and 35.

I thought they divorced in 2015.
Different wife (1st one, mother of his kids) and that was before he got canned by USC. He met the new wife when he was coaching at USC and she was an assistant track coach there. By that math, it would have been about a 1 year courtship while he was drinking heavily. Here's her post-coaching career:

That is more common among college coaches that you think. No reason to single out Carroll and USC, the SEC has plenty of millionaire coaches with a college girl piece on the side.

All these guys do it, look at Bobby Petrino, Rick Pitino, etc. There aren't a lot of boundaries for these guys, much like their star players. I went to a smaller school in the South (no football team at the school) and the head basketball coach (fat, white former player) who was also the AD, and who lived in an on-campus house with his wife and kids, was notorious for paying black girls on the track team to service him. The assistant basketball coach walked in on him nailing a star quarter miler on the floor of his office, that's where we heard confirmation. I came back to campus early from winter break one year and was hanging out with my girlfriend at her place when her Carribean roommate got dropped off late in the evening by this guy and she was holding cash when she walked in.
