Nike Turbo 2 Replacements?

Also following. Fortunately i only have 50 miles on my Peg Turbo 2's. They're so good that I only use them for my harder long runs, or tempo runs. In a rotation with some Peg 36's. I agree that the Peg 37s suck.

I'm hoping to find a good alternative to the Turbos, if not i may bite the bullet and get some Next%s.

Have you tried the new balance fuelcell tc elites? A little pricey but a great shoe. Otherwise, I was going to say the speeds. Sorry man.

agree with your feelings..I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find a decent shoe that suits me..

Try Skechers Hyper Razor 3.. love this shoe.. but fair warning, it is less shoe than the Nike Turbo.

It won’t work for everyone, but to me it is a daily trainer that can do everything.

#1 - there are millions of pairs of turbos out there still and cheaper than ever.

but if you don't like this, try the Adizero Pro. I think I posted this in response to you in another thread too. Not as soft as the Turbo 2 but a faster shoe IMO.

That shoe is plated.

Reebok Floatride Run Fast? Soft Pebax foam, light weight, no plate. Not sure if they still make this but you can get them on clearance cheap.

Adidas SL20 or NB Beacon.

I second the Floatride Run Fast v1. They have PEBA foam with an EVA rim. More stable and lighter than the Turbo. Turbos are softer and feel a little bouncier, but the Run Fast are a solid alternative.

The Run Fast v2 isn't as good as the v1 IMO and I will be testing out the v3 soon as they were just released.

I have a couple thousand miles between Turbo 1s and 2s, so yeah I'm a big fan. Your dislikes of other shoes sounds similar to me. New favorite you should try is the NB Fuelcell Rebel. Its not quite as soft or flexible as the turbo and the upper is more knit feel than the fly mesh or whatever nike calls it. Not a perfect replacement but it works for me. You can find them for $60 too.

I tried the Rebook Forever floatride energy first gen and sort of liked them but they were just missing that extra thing. I don't think they had the pebax.

I have had a lot more trouble it seems than others finding old stock turbos in my size. I can't find any in size 10.5?

For the run fast do they fit loose like the forever energy? those were quite roomy.

Buy all the Turbo 2s you can and then quit running when you wear them out. Give up on breaking 20 min 5k while youre at it.
