I ordered a pair of NB 1080s on sale. 10 for me tomorrow and 18 Sunday to get to 80 on the week. Sunday will be my longest run in almost exactly a year I believe (assuming it goes ok).
RRR - Good for you! The LR is such a great piece of training. Nice progress, my friend. I am hitting the weights right now...was thinking of you.
hhw - Enjoy the 1080s. Awesome midsole...but the fit is terrible for me. Very tight on my instep and midfoot.
I took a down week on the weights. Gonna try to cut back moving forward but I dunno if I can go under 3-4 hours a week.
I have a pair of NB Heirro road to trail hybrid shoe. Love the midsole but the upper is really tight for me. Would love to try the NB More trail version. I like the road to trail shoe as work is about 1000 meters of road before I hit the single track.
Image - what half you running in spring?
4-5 easy miles every day plus three ocean swims and two strength training days. Just rebuilding the engine slowly after a real bad injury. Feeling good :)
