What are people using for track spikes in the 5K and 10K in track? I’m a college runner looking to go under 32 this spring, assuming things aren’t cancelled again.
Thanks in advance!

think the nike dragonfly is the spike of choice for 10k these days -- that or matumbo. I'm intrigued by the nike flat-spike as well. they seem like a streak upper with a matumbo plate. those are the spikes i'd consider for 10k right now, someone else could chime in on non-nike spikes
How does the matumbo compare with the mamba and victory 3? It’s hard to discern the differences.
The matumbos are far less aggressive and have a bit more cushion than the other two Nike spikes. So they’d definitely be better for a 10k.
The new Nike dragon flys also look super cool and ideal for 10ks.
Non Nike the adidas Avantis are nice and have enough under foot to make it in a 10k. Also the new balance ld5000 I’ve heard is a good spike and looks like it would work for 10k.
matumbo, ya dumbo
Dragonfly, tumbos, brooks wire, in that order. All are good options. I hear things about the adidas avanti but they're almost 5 ounces which is too heavy for my liking, you may like them though.
could also go vic 3s. pretty aggressive but your in college so should be fine. you could use them all the way down too 80m. tumbos aren’t great for anything under 5k. dragonfly are the best but hard to find
