Let’s hear it! I’ve been rocking the Saucony freedom 3s pretty much all year and love em. I also bought a pair of Nike streak 7s for tempo runs and equally enjoy how comfy yet firm they are.

Vomero 14’s. These weren’t released in 2020, but have become my top trainer and are super comfortable + pretty cheap to buy. I have been wanting to buy the Streak 7’s for awhile now, and your post only tempts me more. Lol.
Saucony Endorphin Speed, Asics Nova Blast, Skechers Ma Road 4+. Great for my old fart feet and legs. ?
I used to run in the 14s a lot. I really liked that they had plenty of cushion but didn’t feel heavy at all.
Interesting thing about the streak 7s. I’ve only run in them a couple times, but they have an air pocket type thing right underneath the heel, which is certainly an odd feeling.
I’m hoping to try the novablast or maybe some 880s in the future
The ones that carried me to my happiest miles this year were the Hoka Clifton 7, Nike Tempo Next%, Hoka Rocket X and Saucony Endorphin Pro.
I love that converse shoes you can check here. In my rotation, I train in ultraloose, and I love them for 6-12 mile moderate pace runs. Absolute horses for work. I would seriously consider them for a 1/2 to full that I wasn't trying to PR if the upper one had some more structure.
I love the 19s Solar Boost, too. For long runs, they are my go. At mileage above 12, my feet tend to get sloppy and they provide just sufficient structure to reel my form in. To each one of their own
New Balance Fuel Cell Rebel -- these have been great daily trainers for me (though they were too soft for workouts)
Skechers GoMeb Speed 6 Hyper -- nice, durable flats for longer workouts. Seems like they'll last until I wear through the rubber. Hoping to give the GoRun Razor 3 elite a try when they go on sale next, since they look similar.
I've been trying (and failing) to replace my Nike Pegs for ages and finally cracked it a couple of months back with the New Balance FuelCell Prism.
A true "do it all" shoe that deals with uptempo much better than the Pegasus in my opinion. After loving the Rebels in 2019, I'm developing a bit of a soft-spot for New Balance (and more specifically FuelCell) of late.
My Pegs have now finally been demoted to garden shoes after 700m. In fairness they'd look brand new with a quick spin in the washing machine, but the foam/air unit feels too dense for more running.
For 2020 only.
1. Endorphin Speed
2. FuelCell TC Elite
3. Tempo Next%
Basically a bunch of carbon plated trainers meant to compliment their racer.
Best this year: Brooks Launch 6. A truly versatile shoe.
Close second: NB 890v7. Smooth.
Last but not least: Mizuno Wave Sonic 2. Low drop, low stack tradicional race flat with a great fit and super durable.
Are the streaks good for long tempos, or more threshold interval on the track type workouts
I think they work great for tempos on the road or light trails (short grass, dirt, limestone and the such).
They work well on the track too. They might not be better at fast paces on the track because they aren’t exactly low stack, but I’m sure they’ll handle the cornering fine. I have tried yet.
They’re supposed to be marathon racers so they’re pretty comfy and snappy at the same time. I love em
My top 3 of 2020:
1. Saucony Freedom 3
2a. Saucony Ride ISO
2b. Reebok Floatride Energy
The Freedom wins for an overall awesome ride. Ride was super smooth at every pace and really durable. Floatride Energy are great shoes that I picked up for $40 on Amazon. Really good shoe and insane value for the price.
Brooks Hyperion Tempo for me. Had 4 pair this year used them for every type of run
Hi,
I have a top 3,
1. Saucony Endorphin speed (fast, responsive, versatile, cushioned)
2. Asics Novablast (Bouncy, cushioned and long runs and fun)
3. Reebok Symmetros (good everyday trainer , responsive and cushioned)
Honorably mention is the NB Prism - fast, fun and soft underfoot and Nike Peg 37 (woman's) soft and cushioned better than mens version.
Cheers
Steve

I second that.
Really good shoe. Used it for tempos, TTs on the road. Really good shoe.
My favorite shoe of 2020 was one I hated at first - React Infinity Flyknit. Took quite a few runs to get them broken in, but now I love them & they're my 'go to' for standard runs. They are a great workhorse shoe.
Not all of these came out in 2020, but they kept me healthy and helped me yield the most consistent running I have had since college (10 year ago)
Easy days; Mizuno Wave Sky 3, a work horse of a shoe, had 2 pairs over a 18 month period
Fast days; NB fuel cell rebel, great shoe for the wide foot fam. Cushioned and snappy. A combo that hard to find.
Trail days; Hoka Challenger ATR 5; a bouncy trail shoe that was still stable enough to prevent rolling an ankle.
Race day; Nike Vaporfly Next %. Only bought these because I made a bet that the Chiefs would win the superbowl right after Mahomes came back from the dislocated knee cap. Used the winnings to buy the Next %. The performance is equally astonishing as the hype. Not a Nike guy, but damn it. They made an incredible shoe.
HM: Saucony Endorphin Speed. I only have 50 miles in them so far, but they have performed excellently in recent tempo efforts.
Worst shoe IMO: Adidas Solar Boost - a clunky energy zapping mess.
Rincon, Kinvara. Both were great, the HOKA if you like a metarocker, kinvara if you like a more minimalist shoe
