I am a relatively new runner who started running in April. I ran Cross Country for my senior year (Current) and my PR for the 5k was a 7:31. I am looking to compete in High School Track this season for the 1600m and 3200m.
My PRs:
5k: 17:31
1 Mile: 4:43
3200m: 10:23
Half Marathon: 1:32 (Only ran once)
I am averaging 30+ miles a week, and due to the extreme winter cold, I am currently doing most of my mileage on a treadmill that can go 13mph.
My goal is to run under a 10 minute 3200m this track season which is in a few months.
Any tips for improving my 3200m time, and is running on the treadmill helping me at all?
