Today, I ran 3 x (4 x 150m) repeats with a 30s jog between reps and a 2 min jog between sets. I averaged 27.5s across the workout (4:53 pace) and finished faster than I started. Is this a decent workout to predict 800m or 1500m race pace? And what's the conversion? I haven't raced since February and I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to time trial (I'm on a college team), but training has been going well, and I'm interested in what might be good goals to set for myself now. My current 800/mile PRs are 2:29/5:31 (I'm female). Thanks!
