I bough them in mid April and have averaged perhaps 75 miles/month since. That's less than 500 miles. I noticed a tear in one them around September, maybe even earlier.
For the price I paid, I would have liked a shoe that I could run in for a solid year. It seems to me that shoes are made with less durability these days. I remember nearly 20 years ago having a pair of pegasus that I put in well over 500 miles with no issues.

Shoes usually fall apart when they are not used often enough.
75 miles a month is not enough. Most people here on letsrun have that on Thursday.
Greg you need to run more so we can sell you more shoes.

I've run 75 miles/week and more in the past. What are your PR's, by the way? Can you top 26:21 for 8k? That's not amazing but it's respectable considering I did it on limited training.
