hi could anyone help me with a training plan for breaking 20km in 5k, im 20 years old. fitness is around 21:45 is it possible ? and if so how long would it take on good quality training?
im thinking of one day of hills, three easy days, one tempo and one longer interval session, core three times a week and fixing my diet.
week would look like:
mon: 2 mile warm up/ cool down
200m hillx 6/7
tues easy 7 miles
wednesday tempo start at 3km add as weeks progress
thurs: 1000m repeats
friday: easy 7 miles
sat: easy 7 miles with 5km pickup in middle
