What's up with the fast times at the Ark-Missouri meet. I suspect the 5k was short 100 to 200 meters. It seems we see this happening every year where (mostly freshman and 2nd year runners)are running at or close to their 5k track times. I guess my question is:
Why are we advertising a race as a 4k,5k,or 6k if the course isn't even close? 100 to 200 meters short is just giving athletes false credentials. This seems to be happening in many first meet invites all over the country.
