Morhad Amdouni, The native of Portovecchio in Corsica, an island belonging to France in the Mediterranean, has to be in with a shout as the best runner with the best range from 800 m to the Marathon at the recent world championships for the half marathon in Poland. in France we are absolutely delighted that the modest, self effacing, devout Muslim ran this superb time in Poland. In my book, this guy is right at the very elite top for range in athletics from 800 m to the Marathon. I think that even Cheptegei and Kiplimo would have trouble running a 147 800 m. This shows the Corsican Muslim has serious wheels. In France, we are on cloud nine that he ran 5940 for the half marathon. In France, we are on cloud nine that he ran 5940 for the half marathon. this points to a future Marathon in the 203 to 205 range. He has the wheels and the endurance but does he have the psychological assurance to run that kind of time?
