My biggest fear is that he won't show any symptoms (or will lie to us and said he didn't) and then he'll come out and say "No big deal. I had it. No symptoms. Not a big deal at all.. Nothing to worry about. It's nothing"

One would think but it won't happen.
They ain't done with the fear mongering yet.
Here in MA they are putting out reports we are going to have to go into full lockdown again. No idea why.
Oh the members of the cult, "Trump is our God and he is invincible". But he is NOT.
The truth is Hope Hicks got sick and Trump is already talking about recovery and his people are saying he is "well". That is all trump speak. If he had no symptoms we would know it because Trump would have bragged about it. He is sick.
He was also terribly irresponsible for going to a fundraiser home after he knew Hope was sick with Covid and that he spent time with her.
Trump is living up to his moniker as a super spreader.
This is one of the most ignorant posts on LRC that I've ever seen. Well done.

Excellent point and I have no doubt he would do that.
I am not a right winger, but my understanding is that their “vile” political causes (namely abortion) are something they view as “murder” of innocent lives. Roughly 300,000 abortions are performed a year in the United States. Therefore, they view RBG’s death as a chance to maybe save millions of future unborn lives.
People (on both sides) are really not generally all-around horrible. They simply have different beliefs about which policies harm/kill/hurt the most American lives.
...and the President of Burundi who died. He was a denier.

There actually have been a lot of good posts in this thread.
There are so many scenarios.
He has the positive result but never gets sick. People might get the message that it's not a big deal.
And that's bad how?
So the 207,000 who have died are not a big deal? I'd trade any one of them for Trump.
Go away.
My level of concern for the passing of any government official, outside of local government, is extremely low. I say we lock Trump, Biden, and all of Congress in a room together; and just in case COVID doesn't work, maybe get some Ebola patients and venomous snakes in there too.

And if he doesn't?
If he dies? Then Pence,a politician I actually prefer to Trump, will most likely take over as the presidential candidate.
No, feminists and their mangina pu$$y beggars really couldn't care if an unborn child is a human or not (of course it is). A woman's right not to be incomvenienced by an unwanted pregnancy trumps a child's right not to be flushed down the pan. For them.

Out of Trump, Biden, and Pence, Pence is the only one who hasn't been accused of sexual assault. So if it's Biden v. Pence, are you voting for the sexual assaulter or the man faithful to his wife?
This will likely go one of two ways:
1. Trump has a mild case and recovers. This will strengthen his base support that these lockdowns were nonsense and the virus really isn’t a big deal, and the masks are stupid. After all, he is in the “high risk” category as a 70+ overweight male. I can already hear him proclaiming himself a victorious hero coming out of this. If he misses a debate or two, that only helps him. He was terrible in the first one.
2. Trump gets very ill and is hospitalized. As long as he recovers, he will still spin it the exact same way as scenario one. Masks don’t work—he wore one and still got Covid. He is a hero, and even though Covid is bad, you can overcome! And this is all China’s fault!

I'd vote for the one who would allow a man to be faithful to his husband

So sexual assault ok on the left? I figured as much but just wanted to confirm.
Listen up libs, more truth coming your way. Fact is it’s Impossible not to get it.
Covid survival rate is over 99.96% for adults and climbing. There is virtually no other virus or flu strain that you would rather have if you have to get something and everyone does and has. Those other viruses affect the weak as well. Every drug taken to cure them has side effects the same as well.
Masks are useless.
Or, he drops out of the race because he knows he is losing. This is the escape hatch that will allow him to avoid a humiliating defeat. So he quits the race, but then afterwards he'll say that he would have won except for the virus, and no one will be able to prove him wrong.
I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, but if he ended up dying it certainly would make a solid book end to this time in history. If you were writing fiction it would be hard to top.

As if he's been faithful to his wife.
His wife won't let him be alone in a room with a woman. That's the old religious version of having a joint facebook account.
I posited what I believe to be the two *most likely* scenarios. Obviously there are other possible outcomes, such as he drops out, he dies, he tries shenanigans to delay to election, or he recovers after a horrible bout and humbly addresses the American public with an apology for how he downplayed the virus (least likely scenario of all)
