New balance 1400v6 or 1500v6

I own the 1500v6 with and without the BOA system. (Although I initially liked it, Ipersonally don't recommend getting the BOA system since its cinch string started pinchching the medial side of my foot, down near the 5th metatarsal). I can't answer your question, since I don't have the 1400. But the 1500 is a good, solidly built 'trainer', but maybe on the lighter side of what is normally thought of as a 'trainer'.

However, an even faster shoe I recently acquired is the Skechers Razor 3. It has more bounce than the 1500v6, and it's lighter; it may not be as durable of shoe as the 1500v6.

Yikes! I meant the *lateral* side of my foot (i.e., on the outside of the foot).

I run pretty much exclusively in both the 1400v6 and 1500v6. I use the 1400 for track work and racing, and maybe tempos (could go either way for tempos). 1500 for basically everything else. 1500 is a bit heavier. Additionally, the 1500v6 is one of the best feeling and fitting shoes I've ever used. Unfortunately, nothing feels as fast as the 1400v3 did.

I'm currently at 50-55 mpw.

I used to use 1400s as an all around shoe. You should have good biomechanics because there isn't much support, but they are very comfortable and faster than the 1500s. I think i have the v4s through v6s.

Does anyone know what's going on with the new balance 1500 series? I can't find any pairs of men's 1500v6 online in my size.
