What are the best methods you guys have used to teach kids to push out and drive...without getting vertical and pushing down too quickly?

This is really hard to teach if your athlete doesn’t have appropriate strength levels or body control. First thing you have to do is get your girls on a strength program so they can get to and hold the necessary body positions needed to drive out.
Figured this out the hard way, you can coach till your blue in the face, but if they can’t squat (very rough estimation) at least 1.5 times their body weight then driving out is going to be very difficult for them.
