My town currently has an AQI of around 120. Is it safe for me to run outside? At what AQI level should you not run outside?

Stay inside, you'll get in better shape than running 11 minute miles and questioning if you have talent. Troll.

Then tell me how am I supposed to get my easy pace down?
Liar
Under 150
Up to you, I ran when it was slightly below 300 in China. Smart? Probably not but it was a short 5 miles. Most polluted countries have you get used to it after living there a while

Under 150 for training, but I'll go jogging up to 200. Above 200 I set up the bike trainer in my breakfast nook.
42.
It is known
Idk all I know is I’m coughing up blood and 2 of my teammates have already died running a 5:59 mile never could have prepared me for this why are we born just to suffer
The lower the better. Below 50 is much better than below 100.
There are about 1/4 of the particulates at an aqi of 50 as there are at 100.
Honestly, its not worth it to run in crappy air. My personal cut-off is about 70 on the AQI index. Over that and its really noticeable, over 100 and you are definitely not doing your body any favors.
Take a few days or few weeks off. There is really nothing to train for right now, the break will likely do you good!
45 is the answer. David, I see the potential in you. Please don't over train. Keep us updated.
You don't even run, so you don't really have any reason to worry about the air quality.
what does it matter. You have yet to log a run. Prove me wrong.

You would never run a single day in CA

False. I live in the much-maligned Central Valley of California, and on a majority of days in the past year the AQI has been in the "good" range (below 50). The past two weeks have been awful with the smoke from the fires, but that's not normal. I think you'll find the same thing is true for most other parts of California.
