How it goes, we don't know. But Jakob I wants revenge on Lewandowski. Jake Weightman runs 800. And Warholm wants the worldrecord so bad.

Jakob is in way better form than Lewandowski at the moment. He should run heavily favored, but I suspect Kejelcha who you didn’t mention may make him work. Seems like the Rowberry athletes had a tough buildup into Monaco. But now Yomif may have put together 5-6 weeks of good training since. McSewyn no slouch either but I don’t think he has the gears to beat Jakob.

He's probably tired of all the winning.

Sure, I should have mentioned Kejecha, Absolutely. And also young Ignazio Fontes 3.33.72 and Kumari Taki. But if Jakob is going to win he has to run 3.30.
I dont See Jakob on the start List!?

Lame? Why is that? Isn’t it a valid question? If your main training partner in your specific event (that you spend hundreds of hours with each year training and traveling) needed help discing the soil, pulling the spuds, injecting the Epo, wouldn’t you be happy to comply?
Arkea, you're being immature.
Tim has no competition at the moment. No one has threatened him. He fears no one right now. He is the reigning champion and is the Olympic favorite.
Jakob will have to move up to 5000m to maximize his marketability. He cannot win the 1500m with 1:46 800m speed. He simply cannot kick.
Depending on the Schedule my guess is he runs both the 1500 and 5000 if possible. if the 5000 heats start 2-3 days after the 1500 Final, he would probably double.
What is the schedule in US Eastern time?

Meh. Tim is a doper. His days in the 1500 are numbered. More likelihood of Jakob getting the gold in the next Olympics than Tim. Jakob is simply a phenom that is already one of the best ever.

Yes, and it’s darn fun to make light of what is a serious subject in our sport: doping.

(It’s the only way I can stomach the sham.)
It's all those "squat like motions" you have to do to plant and harvest potatoes that builds the strength required to run a fast mile. The unnatural motions of smith machine or free weight squatting just don't come close.

It is not speed Jacob lacks to beat Tim, its endurance.
