A friend asked me this today, not sure if he was trying to be rhetorical or what, but I couldn’t come up with an answer. Nothing under 3:35 or 13:05 comes to mind?

Hehe, 10/10
Tried to do some research. As best as I can tell, the fastest outdoor 1500 any of them have won was a small 1500 in a Norwegian city I’ve not heard of where Jakob won in 3:36 and for 5000m Henrik won once in Palo Alto in 13:16. Am I missing any faster wins?
Probably not very fast because they always search out the best competition. That is why they are in a very elite group. Seems you were trying to prove something else but the facts speak for themselves.
fast enough to run wrote:

Trying to prove something else? Next time I’ll just pretend I have all of the answers to everything I guess.

That was en route to a mile he lost to Tefera.

I remember London last year and that 1500m is a split - not a win.
Seems like Jakob has the fastest 1500 win with 3:36.02i in Düsseldorf, 2019.
His brothers aren’t far behind—Filip’s fastest 1500 win is 3:36.32i in Düsseldorf 2020 and Henrik’s is 3:36.34 in Belgium in 2016.
Goodthread idea though.
Centro’s fastest win?
Jager’s?
Ritz’s?
Derrick? (Lol)
The sister raced 100m in 13 point, so 13 seconds.
800m: 1:46.47 Jakob 2020 in Oslo
1000m: 2:16.46 Filip2020 in Oslo
1500m: 3:36.33 Jakob 2019 in Hamar / 3:36.02i Jakob 2019 in Düsseldorf
1 Mile: 3:56.29 Jakob 2017 in Oslo
2000m: 4:50.01 Jakob 2020 in Oslo
3000m: 7:42.72 Henrik 2018 in Bergen

Not even going to bother with Ritz and Derrick - Ritz is probably one of his half marathons.
Jager would’ve been sub 8 were it not for the infamous last barrier. But he still has a Monaco win in 8:01.
Centro I would’ve guessed mid 3:3x and from looking it up he had win in Eugene in 3:34.09 for the 2016 trials final.
Good idea.
Seems like that 2000m by Jakob was their best race so far.

Definitely the best listed but that was basically just a family time trial. I don’t count that as a race win to me but to each their own.
You could also ask who has Jakob lost to this year on the track that hasn't been a recent gold medalist.
Quite sure Centro has had a win in the 3:33 range before.
Here's a video of the race. He won here at Oxy in 3:33.41

Centro -- 3:50.63i win at Millrose in 2016 (someone mentioned his 3:34.09 but I think the mile converts faster)
From what I can tell, Ritz's fastest win's are 13:19 for 5000, 28:08 on the roads (not sure he's ever won a track 10,000), and 1:01:24 HM.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
