As a possible D1 athlete I would like to know what times show potential for running under 4 in college or post college.
Obviously the times have to be the minimum amount to break 4. Ex: 1:59 800m, 59 400m, etc.
But how far under do these times does potential for breaking 4 show?
Is it sub 1:55?, 1:50? In the 800m
56?, sub 55?, or sub 50 in the 400m
Sub 2:55 for the 1200?
Are these times faster or slower than what is necessary?
Also what does the mileage, and pace, look like of daily runs. What do the workouts look like?
