I’m trying to decide between the Nike Streak LT4 and the adidas SL20 to use as a workout shoe and do warm ups and cool downs in. Which one should I get? I usually wear Nikes if that makes a difference

They are different shoes. Better comparison would be SL to Streak. I’d side with the Streak

What are the differences, I’m looking for a workout shoe for grass and rougher surfaces

Adios might be a better bet, it has history on dirt/grass. Not sure how the SL20 compares in terms of the outsole. skip the Streak LT because it's not enough shoe for the warmup/cooldown (for most people).
Streak LT4 is considerably lighter and less cushioned than the SL20. I don't like to do warmup/cooldown in them if I can avoid it.
I'd go Adios/SL20 or Zoom Streak 7
Get the Atreyu. It’s cheaper but is a bit more shoe than the others mentioned here, so you can wear it for warm-ups and cool downs.
For versatility, I really like the SL20. If you're looking for a shoe you feel more comfortable running longer in, I would suggest not going with the LT4.
The LightStrike material is pretty nice, and doesn't feel mushy or non-responsive. I've worn quite a few Boost shoes over the years and I don't think the SL20 is lacking by not having Boost.
I've been really impressed by the SL20 over the past few weeks. The traction is actually really good, with a full Continental tire outsole in the mid to forefoot. I've done some track work down to 65s quarter pace and didn't feel like it was too bulky to go that fast. I'd say the SL20 is the best budget shoe out there for workouts at the moment.

Depends I got my LT and Flyknit streak for under 75 each.
Plenty of shoes are on sale you just need to know when and where to get them.
SL20 is considerable more shoe than either Streak or LT so it’s definitely more versatile.
What are you running? If you're going to be doing much 5k pace or faster I'd choose the Streak LT; the SL20 is pretty heavy.
YMMV but I have no problem doing warmup/cooldown in the Streak LT. Just be careful if you're not used to a low drop shoe.
