I've been contemplating buying these for a few weeks now.
I've tried almost every type of barefooot style and/or zero drop shoe out there.
This looks like a great pure barefoot shoe, with just enough cushion to protect against sharp rocks.
Softstar has also finally made a running shoe like this as well. Their version costs $170, whereas the Xero running shoe is "only" $110.
But yes, I too am curious if anyone has logged some miles in the Xeros.
Sounds like they are copying something.

They look a bit like Altras with the wide toebox + zero drop.
I have a pair of Xero Prios, though my experience running in them is limited. They’re the only shoes I’ll lift weights in, so comfortable and stable. In the winter they’re my go to general purpose “tennis shoe” (aka my shoe for whatever). I have done a few walk-jogs in them and they were fine. At some point I’d probably like to play around with jogging a bit in them because I did find them quite a bit more comfortable than I thought they’d be for running. Not a shoe I’d personally do serious mileage in but comfortable nonetheless.
I like the hippy dude that says "Don't wear comfortable shoes".
He seems earnest and super chill.
Is Xero better than say the Merrell VaporGlove?
The new vapor trail glove appears to be too built up like a normal shoe.
The earlier versions were better.

Agree.
I loved the Trail Glove 3 and wanted to buy new ones. I really dislike the arch support in the 5s.

I thought it said Xerox.
i've run in both the Xero HFS and the Merrell Vapor Glove. The Xero feels like it might have a very slightly thicker sole, although it's still very flexible and flat. I haven't had the pair for long, but it looks like it will last a long time. I kick around in them pretty much all the time because they're extremely comfortable and also look fairly conventional.
For the record, I prefer to run in a shoe that has some EVA for cushion. I like the Altra Vanish-R a lot. The Xeros and Merrells don't really have any cushion, except whatever small amount is offered by the rubber sole, and, in the case of the Xero, a removable insole.

Sounds like the old Onitsuka Tiger pinto. Thanks!

Yes, they are the primary shoes I run in.
I have run in the Prio, Z-trek, Z-trail, Speed force, Cloud and Veracruz.
They are good shoes if you like minimalist footwear, although my favorites are the Prio and Speed force.
The cloud and Veracruz sandals did not work at all for me, but I've put a lot of miles on the Z-trail for easy runs.
Happy to answer any questions about my experience.
Yeah, i have experience in that, its awesome for running, you people try it and share your happiness.
Finally bought the Xero trail shoes. I must say these are my favorite mimimalist shoes so far, and I've tried almost everything.
Just enough cushioning, with the hard, (but very flexible) vibram bottoms, you don't feel sharp rocks.
I have very wide, flat feet, and the sole shape is perfect for me.
We'll see how long they last . . .
Only have the DIY kit shoes but I have ran over 7000km in them and still good. Ran my PBs in them. I like the Vapour Glove 4 but they only lasted 1000km. The sole rubber was too soft. So I may get an XERO shoe next
