IMG track length???? Somebody has to check it
No way it will be certified. What are the others times?
Wrong start line somehow, ran 180 meters? Still into a strong headwind

Not possible
I saw that degrasse ran 100y so maybe this was a 200y race?
Re-watched it a couple times just to make sure they started on the right line and that the clock wasn't wildly off.
Wind was -3.4 headwind for the 100y at the same facility. Did the wind swing in the other direction?
Broadcast says he started on the wrong line (don't know what line that is). He did seem to go around the turn suspiciously fast.

Lol how do you mess that up?
Oh Hardloper...
If a "wrong line" exists at all near the 200m start then confusion is understandable.
Klosterhaffen's goof the other day in the 796.5m wasn't.

This
I just confirmed with his crew - he ran 185m - so around 20.10 adjusted and into a -3.7 its a solid but not spectacular run. Again, they are lucky he didn't have a +1.8 or something and rip off something close to 18 seconds because that would have been very, very bad.

Yea .. I feel like it's pretty simple to find the 200m line though - the 1st lane 200m line is aligned with a waterfall line, so you can work from there.
What happened with KK ? she started her 800m in an outside lane but from the 400m stagger start ?

20.10? He wasn't going to run the last 15m in 1.20.

That’s also factoring the -3.7 wind and adjusting to an estimate for 0.0.

Yeah. She only beat the other girl by 0.07 so it made a difference too.

Yeah true, that was just the number somebody texted me - you are right it's more like 1.6 seconds (and maybe a fraction more given fatigue of the extra distance). So probably 20.50 into a -3.7

What is this amateur operation? How is the 200m start line confusing?

Ah. When I read it is seemed like it was 20.10 before the wind adjustment as it said around 20.10 adjusted AND into a -3.7 wind. Fair enough.
