Over the last few weeks I’ve developed an injury from running, and I have no idea what it is or how to fix it. It started off as right hip pain that I’d feel after a run. It hurts to lift up the right leg when I’m lay down. But in the last couple of weeks it’s like the pain has moved to the back of the leg. Feels like the hamstring area but there’s identifiable no point of pain that I can pin point. When I foam roll it it feels ok, but when I walk I get like a painful twinging sensation in the back of the leg. It’s actually more painful walking than running. When I run, the leg is really stiff to start with but feels better after a mile or so.
Any idea what this is? Have rested for the past week but doesn’t seem to have made much difference.
